Remote Sensor Extension Kit (EX-50)

Overview

The EX-50 extends the remote precipitation sensor of a DS8-C or DS9-C heat cable controller by up to 50 ft, for a total of 60 ft between the controller and the sensor. It is the only approved way to extend the sensor cable.

• 50 ft of 20 AWG, 6-wire shielded cable with 300 V insulation, the same diameter as the sensor cable for a watertight seal at the strain relief
• Pre-terminated with an M12 circular connector rated IP67
• Mating connector included; installs with standard hand tools, no crimping or soldering
• Extended cable shield improves noise immunity and prevents false triggering
