S5 Standing Seam Roof Mounting Base Clamp

Overview

The S-5-S is a non-penetrating clamp for standing seam metal roofs. Combined with the S5-SR or S5-SR-U heat cable clip, it holds heat cable on the seam without drilling into the roof, and the cable can be repositioned without tools.

• "S" stands for snap-lock: fits vertical snap-together profiles about 1.5 in. (38 mm) and 1.75 in. (44 mm) tall
• Also fits single-fold (angle-seam) horizontal profiles with 1 in. (25 mm) and 1.5 in. (38 mm) seam heights
• The finished seam must be at least 1 in. high and no more than 0.54 in. (13 mm) thick
• Includes two T-30 Torx round-point setscrews, a Torx bit and one M8 bolt
• Sold individually, in 5-packs and 30-packs
• Heat cable clip sold separately

Installation

Place the clamp on the seam, tighten the setscrews to the specified tension, then attach the heat cable clip with the included bolt. See the installation manual for details.
